These labels are produced from matt silver paper and printed in black. The contrast between the metallic background and black print creates a clean, professional result that works particularly well with bold logos, simple illustrations and clearly defined wording.

This is a single-colour printed product. White areas within your artwork will show as the silver label material rather than being printed white. It is therefore important to consider the silver background when preparing your design.

Indoor paper labels

Silver paper labels are intended primarily for dry indoor applications. They are not waterproof and are not recommended for products that will regularly encounter water, condensation, refrigeration or outdoor weather.

Preparing black artwork for silver labels

Upload your completed black artwork or create a design using our online label builder. Bold black text, logos and illustrations generally produce the clearest results against the silver background.

For the best print quality, supply editable vector artwork or a high-resolution bitmap image of at least 300dpi. Keep important wording and logos at least 1–2mm inside the cutting line.

A PDF proof can be provided before printing if requested. When a proof is requested, we will wait for your approval so you can check the size, shape, layout, spelling and appearance of the black artwork against the silver background.
