For bottles, lunchboxes and other items that may be wiped or exposed to moisture, choose one of our water-resistant vinyl materials supplied on sheets. Always check that the selected material is suitable for the intended use.

How to apply school name labels

Apply each label to a clean, dry and smooth surface. Remove any dust, grease or cleaning residue before positioning the label, then press firmly across the entire surface and around every edge.

Allow the adhesive time to form a secure bond before the item is handled, washed or exposed to moisture. Adhesion may vary on textured, flexible, curved or low-energy plastic surfaces.

Designing your personalised labels

Keep the wording clear and concise, particularly when choosing a small label size. A child’s first name and surname will usually be easier to read than a long message containing several different details.

You can upload completed artwork or use our online designer to create a straightforward name label. Please keep important wording within the safe area and extend any background colour beneath the cut line.

Artwork and proof approval

For the best print quality, supply editable vector artwork where possible or a high-resolution bitmap image at 300dpi. Artwork intended to print to the edge should include approximately 2–3mm of bleed.

A PDF proof is available when requested. We will only begin printing after the proof has been approved, allowing you to check the name, spelling, layout and design before production.
